Alright, on to some fun times!

I have to adjust some of the door and drawer latches that I installed a few months ago. They have gotten pushed down a bit and can't keep them locked. This is the result!
Graedy has been into markers lately and got a hold of one of my black crayola markers. He had a ton of fun. Here he is after I said "Show mommy what you did".
"Oh no!"
A few days later, after he had been cleaned up, a nice storm rolled through Southern California and there was snow in Pine Valley. We headed up the mountain for Graedy's first day in the snow. He learned very quickly how to say "Yea Snow"!
We brought along a plastic sled and as you can tell from this picture neither Graedy nor I were too sure!

Eventually we got the hang of it and had lots of fun.
Graedy and Matt

Graedy was determined to sled all by himself!

Matt purchased a Harley about four years ago and has enjoyed riding with his dad. A few months ago he sat Graedy on his Harley and I thought they were just going to back out of the driveway. The next thing I knew, they were at the stop sign at the corner. This time I grabbed the camera!

The mother/father battle has already begun. I think it is more than enough for Graedy to just sit on the motorcyle, Matt would take him on a tour of Brawley aboard the motorcycle if I weren't around! The furthest he has gone is to the stop sign and around the cul-de-sac. I told Matt that would be more than enough for now.

Who's that behind the curtain?
Hey, it's Graedy!
He was trying to look outside and then discovered how fun it was to play hide and seek behind the curtain.
I love the action in this picture! He was running so fast his hair was blowing backwards!
In the next installment will be Graedy's two trips to Sea World (one with Matt and I and the other with my mom and I) and the latest trip to Disneyland.

So after Christmas morning we headed over to my Uncle Mike's and Aunt Jody's to see my side of the family and then we went over to Matt's mom's. We had talked about having his side of the family over to our house for Christmas dinner but the Charger's game was on satellite (which we don't have). So Barbara was nice enough to have us all again! (She just had everyone over for Thanksgiving) It's our turn this Easter-no football games on to my knowledge! Here are Graedy and his Gram decked out for the game!

Waaaa...I want to go watch the chargers!

The following are bits and pieces of the fun we had over Christmas break!

Graedy has been learning how to use spoons and forks. This is what he looks like everytime he eats something with marinara sauce. I think it must taste better when it gets all over your face!

What? No! Not me! I have no idea how my motorcycle ended up like this!

I looooove these tangerines!

The many faces of Graedy...

Our poor little guy has had all kinds of trouble with eczema, rashes, and what seem to be allergic reactions. This was one of the reactions. They don't seem to bother him much but they look terrible. We are supposed to be getting a referral to an allergist any day from the pediatrician.

Our young musician:
I got my guitar out for him during break when he found the case. He knew exactly what it was when he saw the case. He has had so much fun learning to strum it and listening to the different sounds it makes.

I must say, I absolutely love his hair, however, it doesn't matter how many times I comb it. Within minutes it is totally raggedy looking again! I wish I could figure out a way to keep it longer like it is and also keep it neat looking.

Up next time are the marker incident and the trip to the snow. See you soon!

On to the next installment...

This was right before Christmas. Graedy was running around in this shirt and pants. He found the hat on a bookshelf and decided that it went well with his outfit. Here he is showing it off!

We decided to start a new tradition for Christmas. We let Graedy open one present so this was the one he chose. He had sooo much fun!

I think this picture says it all!

Precious moments- father and son with thier first remote controlled car.

As you can see in this picture, by Christmas Morning Graedy was still totally excited about his new car. He had to show Grandpa as soon as he arrived.

The first gift Graedy decided to open was from his Uncle Mitch. The scooter was an instant hit and provided continual laughter throughout the morning!

He refused to get off the scooter so we distracted him with another present and quickly hid the scooter on the stair case.

It didn't work for long! He tore open the present and immediately began frantically looking for the scooter. He found it and hauled it down. It was like he had just opened it. He was so excited!

He opened a few more presents, including books from Uncle Russ and Lauren as well as a basketball hoop. Those kept his attention for awhile but...

It didn't take long for him to fixate on the scooter again! He was so determined to learn how to ride it. He kept pulling me over to it so that I would show him how and then he would get on and try. Within 3 days he was able to hold onto the handle bars and push him self once or twice. I was pretty impressed!

We didn't have to worry about the scooter much after his present from his Pops (Matt's Dad)! Our little monkey is so musical. He still plays these several times per day. He's pretty good thanks to his lessons from Uncle Josh.

He started trying to play them before they were even put together!

We were able to get him to open his big present from us before he was totally exhausted and ready for his morning nap. It hasn't taken him very long to get pretty good at riding it. He rides laps around the kitchen table-with a little bit of help from us to make the turns.

Three generations of Harley riders. I see some great rides in their future!

So two months later...Back in December Graedy decided to help me decorate the Christmas Tree! He thought it was the coolest thing!Checking to see if the silk poinsettia smells...

Apparently it does!
This kid cracks me up constantly!

Graedy, my mom and I went to Disneyland during Christmas break. It was soooo much fun. If you have never been to Disneyland during Christmas...GO! It is beautiful and magical and just wonderful!

Here he is outside of Mr. Toad's wild ride. This was his 3rd trip to Disneyland. He loves it more each time he goes!

We were waiting in line for It's a Small World. I think he had just as much fun in line as he did on the ride!

He thought it was great when the clock chimed and all the little toys paraded out!

He loves this ride. He looks like a little owl when he is in the boat. He can't stop looking at everything there. It's so fun to watch!

Later we headed over to California Adventures. I've been there so many times but have never been to this area-I think it's called the Adventure Trails? There were rope nets to climb, bridges to cross and a rock slide to go down. Graedy had tons of fun!

Here's to a great 2010!
