The USS Midway

We went to visit Barbara in Alpine in the middle of July. She had the fabulous idea to visit the USS Midway. Graedy was in HEAVEN!

Here he is in one of the cockpits

It was such a struggle to get him out of here!

Strolling down the deck with Dad and Gram

All smiles

He LOVED this helicopter. He had so much fun running back and forth inside!

This little window may have been the best part! He had a blast talking to me from the window, pretending he was a pilot or rescuer!

Thanks Gram for the great idea-we all had fun!

San Diego Summer

We visited the zoo while we were in San Diego in July.

Our first trip to the new Polar Bear Plunge. Graedy thought the helicopter was Ah-mazing!

One of Graedy's favorite spots-the elephant statues at Elephant Odyssey.

Graedy had a thing for shoes during this trip! (And of course the cheesy smile)

We headed to Grammy's and Grand dad's to visit with Julianne, Claire and their mom Jenn. Lots of the family came to visit too.

Sitting in the waterfall with Julianne

He couldn't wait for the chicken to be cut into bite sized pieces.

Bouncers are fun for 2 year olds too!

We had a summer packed with fun! Our July trip finished up with a trip to Disneyland. I wanted to squeeze one more in before it got too hot and crowded!

Graedy with his "best friends" Woody and Jessie!

It's always nice to get a picture with mom!

July Beach Fun

We are so lucky to be able to use my Grandma's condo in Mission Beach. She and my Grandpa have been so generous over the years letting the family book time and get to enjoy it. We went up a few times this summer and these pictures are from July. Many San Diegans were not happy about the June gloom that carried over into July, but I loved it! Ready to hit the water

Building sandcastles with Uncle Mitch

So proud of their work!

He was ready for his close-up

Deep in thought

I love the matching trunks and rash guards!
